Jesus, I had this godawful nightmare where they were coming to get my little boy to BURN HIM AT THE STAKE and he didn't know what was gonna happen and was just looking for his shoes as they waited and I was crying and begging them to at least KILL HIM before they set him on FIRE and I woke up just shaking and feeling crazy and shit, now I'm crying again. Fucking shit brain. I'm totally blaming it on watching Hansel and Gretel last night, which wasn't even that good, and not having seen my kids since Friday. Thank god they're coming home today, I'm gonna hug the living daylights out of my boy, even if I just discovered he'd been experimenting with my coffee grinder, grinding bread and I don't know what. There even was a piece of rubber stuck in there. *sighs*

Just baked bread, some new gluten free mix, waiting for it to cool down to see if it tastes alright. I'm so tired of the ready baked bread I buy, some German imported bleurgh. There's only one bakery in the country that bakes fresh gluten free bread and man, they're like bricks and tastes like shit. I tried them twice and gave up. So far I've found one bread mix I like but I'm a lazy baker and only bake like once in a blue moon. Thought I'd tried this for a change, it even came with its own little tin pan, about the size of my hand.

Caught hubby on Skype earlier which made me feel a little bit better after the night from hell. He's been having trouble with his phone in Canada. Got reception for ten minutes yesterday, that was it. I sent him a sarcastic FB message last night saying, "Must be hard for the Canadians to have no phone service for days on end" and then it turned out that's what it was, not just him being too busy to call me. Oops? Even if he kinda is. He looked tired. Well, he just woke up but yeah. Getting ready for the Icelandic Festival parade, he said, practicing his Queen (as in Elizabeth, not Freddie Mercury) wave. Or as the natives told him: "Screw a light ball, touch your pearls." Which I find hysterical. *snorts* I've been trying to catch him on camera in the news articles but so far there's not much. He's good at staying hidden, all 6'5" of him. lol Very much looking forward to getting him home, two days from now. Even if he's only gonna be home for three days and then it's off to Norway for another three days there. *sighs*
