(no subject)
I find it pretty amusing that Camper has a whole line of footwear called... Brothers Impala. *snorts*
In other shoe news: I found the shoes I wanted at the Camper online shop in my size, one pair of boots and one pair of nice heels, and while I was making the order they sold the boots! Goddamit. Bastards. Have looked everywhere on the interwebs and it seems they are just wiped out in my size. *pouts* But at least I got the nice heels.
Then today I got an email saying they needed confirmation in person and to call one of two numbers given within 72 hours or they would cancel the order for security reasons. WTH? So I did and me and some woman with an Indian accent spent about 10 minutes trying to communicate. She wanted me to tell her everything again that I already filled out on the form: names, address, bank info apart from the card number.* Then what the hell is the online form for? Jeez. So I tried to understand her while she tried to understand the weird Icelandic names and there was a lot of "What?" and "Could you please repeat that?" while I probably used up my whole months cell phone allowance. *sighs* But they should be good to go now.
* There was a rather funny moment when she asked "And what bank is your card issued from?" and I 1) couldn't remember what it was called now because they've changed names so many times lately, probably thinking a new name will make them sound less skeevy 2) panicked for a moment when I said the only name I could remember, wondering if I'd get a "You money stealing bastards!" and the phone slammed on my ear. Fortunately that didn't happen but maybe that was because I sort of mumbled it so she just asked instead what country it was situated in. lol
