Knitmania
Thank you, trueshellz for the lovely LJ cake on my info! *hugs you hard* Makes me feel like I'm having a birthday all over again. *g*
If I've been MIA lately it's because I'm spending all my free time knitting, trying to get as many Xmas presents done as I can. So far I have 7 beanies, one pair of leg warmers and 3 1/4 mittens. I also had a hat for my little niece but my mother, by some insane coincidence, had knitted the exact same thing and gave to her a few days ago. I was not amused! I've been looking through millions of pattern and I don't see anything else I want to give her, yet. *grumble*
I still have left to knit 2 3/4 mittens, one hat, two Spiderman beanies and one shrug/shawl thingy. And figure out what to give my niece. Less than 3 weeks until Xmas. *panics*
So yeah, not much time to be online. Mostly I just sit on the couch every evening with the TV on for entertainment. We've been going through Firefly this week. It had been quite some time since I watched that last, I'd almost forgotten how much I love it.
Just so you dont think I've given up on current TV: I'm enjoying SPN immensely this season. It keeps me guessing and it delivers plenty of subtext from the prettiest guys on TV. Not much more you can ask for really. More naked Dean maybe? C'mon, Sera, we know you want to.
Also watching Merlin, The Vampire Diaries, Bones, Glee, OTH (don't judge me!), House, Hawaii 5-0, How I met Your Mother, Castle, Fringe and The Big Bang Theory. And Warehouse 13 and Leverage when that starts up again in the next couple of weeks. And of course Doctor Who. IT's cruel how long they let us wait for each season, these Brits. Don't even get me started on Sherlock. Fall 2011!?!?! Aaaaargh! I want it now! *grabby hands*
