Happy new year, and happy end to decade of evil and disaster. I think Obama is more of an Apollo but his twin is in the background threatening to kick his ass if he forgets her.

I don't know. Obama's not particularly musical, not all that skilled at archery, and seems to lack Apollo's penchant for attractive young men. Besides, I associate the Bush administration more with lyres.

It's actually kind of hard to put Obama as an Olympian. Clinton was such a clear Zeus.

I see him as an Apollo because he is so very concervatively cerebral and has a bit of the prophetic gift at least compared to other politicians. He has that noble young man's aura and inspires admiration from other young men.

OTOH he has surpassed his father as Apollo would never have dared to do. Perhaps he is a Zeus in the making or perhaps other Zeuses will strike him down for impertinence.

I saw G.W. Bush as having too much Ares. His father and Clinton were proper Zeuses.
