Although, could you not tell this from the previews? 'Cause I saw the preview and went "uh, no". But that's prolly because I haven't seen an Shamalyan film since I wanted my two hours back after seeing "Unbreakable".

the only one of his movies that was good was "Sixth Sense". We just kept hoping they'd be good again, and instead each one was progressively more inane. I mean really, aliens allergic to water landing on a planet of 70-80% water?

I actually liked Unbreakable. But they have gotten progressively worse.
