1882- Alma and Kanda are born.
1891- Alma grants his first wish. Kanda and Alma break their clan bonds and begin lives as strays.
1900- Alma and Kanda turn 18 and generally 'stop' aging physically.

1957- Alma dies in Spain at the age of 75. Kanda begins traveling alone.
1959- Kanda meets Froi.
1962- Kanda meets Gozu and befriends the odd toymaker.
1965- Kanda grants one of Gozu's wishes and brings Lala to life.
1970- Gozu dies. Kanda takes care of Lala.
1971- Kanda and Lala get an apartment together.
1979- Lala 'dies' at the hands of drunk teens.
1981- Kanda stays with Froi, and meet Daisya and Marie.
1982- Marie is blinded in a freak accident.
1987- Daisya dies, Kanda blames himself.
1992- Kanda leaves Froi and crew, having the idea that if he can find all the parts of Lala, he can bring her back.

2002- Kanda meets Lavi and starts an odd friendship.
2006- Kanda meets Lenalee and Komui.
2008- Kanda gets a new apartment and Lavi moves in.
