I see that I've failed to post at all this month. We're suffering through our second heat wave and my brain is fried.
We visited with my family at the beginning of July to celebrate my Mom's birthday and take in some neat exhibits at the Peabody Essex Museum. We also met our friends Sarah and Andy, along with Andy's daughter, to see Toy Story 3. Thumbs up all around.
Yesterday we spent a fun evening with Lauren, Mark, and friends. They are moving from their house by the water next weekend, so this was a last hurrah that included good food, good beer, and watching the sun set on the beach.
On Tuesday, I am jetting off to Cleveland for the National Barbie Convention. I'm looking forward to spending the week with ragdoll, both during the convention and for a couple of days of sightseeing and Cedar Point afterward. I promised Sarah lots of photos; several of my friends have expressed interest in what goes on at a Barbie convention, and it's hard to describe to the uninitiated. Watch this space!
