In the US, November is National Adoption Awareness Month.

I had no idea. I'm doing some of my required reading, and feeling a wee bit excited about it. I'm also made quite aware of how much I have to learn, and how much I have to do.

Well, as I've been talking about, I directed (and performed in) my church's Good Friday play this year. I've directed it before, about 15 years ago. It's one of my favorites. It's called "Mountaintop," by Bob Hughes, if you're interested in looking it up.

It was a pretty good weekend this weekend.

Geo and I decided to spring for a delux Droll Yankee squirrel proof bird feeder. (Take some time and watch the vids of the feeders' squirrel-thwarting capabilities in action. It's kind of hilarious.)
