Mehhhhh.
Work the past two days has been a'ight. Clerking it up, but not really doing much Clerking... mostly just doing grunt tasks so that I know how to do them when they need a-doing once I'm fully trained. Unfortunately, I got off less than an hour ago and I have to be back up at work at 7am tommorow. And I'll be working with my overbearing and obnoxious manager. But on the plus side, I'm getting register trained. And I won't work again until Monday night. And tommorow afternoon my sister is going to be getting into town... so that will be awesome.
My feet hurt though. None of the black footwear I have is very comfortable... tennis shoes I never wear, or steel-toed boots. I'm not even sure if the tennis shoes are in the dress code or not. Anyway, if you see my away message is just a quote from Clerks, it means I'm at work. I'm hoping I get a new job before I run out of quotes.
In other news, I entered myself in WritersWeekly.com's Spring 24-hour Short Story Contest... basically they will e-mail me at noon on April 9th with a topic/prompt/maximum length, and I have 24-hours to write a story and submit it. First prize is $300 and some other stuff, so here's hoping I am feeling creative and inspired that day.
