A few months ago, I found LauraHuntORI's story EXCELSIOR on fanfiction.net. I fell in love with the story immediately. I finally got some time to read the first book of The Eagles of Rome. In this book, Marcus was the son of a retired Roman officer Titus Valerius Falco, and his mother Albinia was a Germani.
