Kingsman 2 and IT

20th Century Fox is doing the final push of Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Due to the hurricanes in the US, the movie's New York premiere was cancelled, but they're going to have a big one in London tomorrow. All the stars are assembled in London now. Today, Channing and Mark Strong plus the movie's director Matthew Vaughn were spotted at a football match between Chelsea and Arsenal. The fans of both teams are not friendly at all, so it seems they all wanted Channing to support their team. Anyway, Channing has no choice, Arsenal is Jamie's team, so he has to support Arsenal. It turns out that Mark Strong is an Arsenal fan too, so here you go. Mark is the one who is wearing a baseball hat in the bottom two pictures on the left.

Here's a video in which Jeff Bridges and Channing talked about their characters.

To be honest, I'd rather watching a Statesman spin-off than Kingsman. In another interview, Jeff also said:

When I heard that Channing's gonna be in the film, that really lit my candle cause I love his acting. I think I first saw him in Magic Mike, I thought he was so terrific in that. He does a wonderful dance number in our film too, that I think people will really enjoy. [It's] a very character driven dance number as far as style goes.

Also last night, Channing attended Tom Hardy's 40th Birthday party. Channing seems really want to work with Hardy.

I have already booked a ticket for Kingsman 2. I think it will do well, but not a monster hit like IT. I am one of those people who jumped on the Bill Skarsgard bandwagon four years ago, so I'm glad that he has this breakout success this year. I have high hope for him, I think he's much more interesting than some of the actors of his age, such as Kingsman's Taron Egerton or American Assassin's Dylan O'Brien or that annoying Ansel Elgort. Since English is not his first language, when Bill Skarsgard talks about how he learned English, I can relate to. Also I visited Port Hope on the way back from Toronto last Wednesday. Port Hope is the double of the town Derry from IT, check out my photos here.

Finally, I think I have not mentioned that Donald Sutherland will get a honorary Oscar this year, I'm so happy for him.
