Terrible TV Ratings for Turn: Washington's Spies and Damien
Turn: Washington's Spies Season 3 Episode 1 aired on Monday. It only got 471,000 viewers. S2 average was 778,000, S1 was 1,430,000. I thought AMC was quite generous that they decided to renew the show for a third season, but with the new number, I really cannot see it being renewed again. Jamie should start to look for new jobs. I think I will accept him becoming a character actor, playing many supporting roles in movies and TV shows, but I want to see him in works that I want to watch.
On the other hand, Damien is not doing well either. 8 episodes in, it has an average of 497,000 viewers (18-49 demo 0.19, means 190,000 are viewers between the age of 18 and 49). It has two more episodes, I think we will learn about the fate of the show soon.
