Round-Up Post June 2010
I have been back home for about a week now. Still trying to catch up with things in the fandom. A few days ago, someone pointed out there's a merlin novel summary for the coming up Season 3 episode 1, now this book has a title - The Traitor Within. The writers of the show are still not very creative with titles.
And I found some wonderful Pierrefonds winter photos. Are we going to see snow on the show? I wish we could.

Bradley : Colin, did you know that a dolphin sleeps with one eye opened?
Colin : No!
Reporter : A promo for a writing contest with the first price is to come on the filming of the show, that's how started the day for the two protagonists of Merlin. The crew of the UK show is back in Pierrefonds for the third season about the young warlock's journey.
Colin : Each time we came back, the castle is still beautiful and fascinating. We have a lot of chance to be here.
Reporter : Is it credible as a Castle of Camelot?
Colin : It's the only castle for Camelot. We haven't got castle like this in UK or in Ireland. It's unique and to me it's Camelot.
Reporter : Merlin the TV show from the BBC is a big success in the whole world. Broadcast in Canada, UK, Australia, each year it keeps telling about the teenage years of Merlin, Arthur, Lancelot and the others.
Reporter : The success is international and for the come back of the filming in the castle of Pierrefonds or Camelot, the production must handle a new phenomenon : "The Fans" who come on purpose to see the filming of their favorite show.
Fan : I'm here to see the filming. Merlin is a very popular show in UK. I love it so so much! It's my fourth trip in here. (laugh)
Reporter : Really?
Reporter : But the adventure is also a success for the castle of Pierrefonds already known for lots of filming, Merlin helped in the national monument development.
Eva Grangier-Menu(Administrator of the castle-National monuments center) : They rent the castle so we can have a better financial independance. It also have an economic impact because in April we got 200 more visitors with the fans who started to come. And it have an impact on the standing of the castle.
Reporter : The castle which of course intend to change the Merlin adventure, this summer, the operation "Monument and Cinema" will find a particular echo in Pierrefonds.
