Merlin Music by Rohan Stevenson
Aside from Rob Lane, there're two other composers who wrote music for Merlin S1. One of them is Rohan Stevenson. I found his website a few months ago. At that time, his server had some problems, so I couldn't download the mp3. Now he finally fixed the links.
My personal favorites:
The Dragon’s Demand - from Episode 9. Merlin is instructed to hide Excalibur so no mortal can find it. (Listen at Box.net)
Avalon - from Episode 7. Merlin discovers Avalon, the kingdom of the sinister Sidh. So mysterious, it gives me goose bumps. (Listen at Box.net)
The second part (starts from 2:00) of Merlin Rides Out - from Episode 13 is good too. It's the backgroud music plays while Gwen praying for Arthur to recover. (Listen at Box.net)
