It's Been That Long, eh?

Wow! It's been precisely 3 months and a week since I've posted! (WOOT! A new record for Feifus!) XD This is probably due to my many horrible habits (my laziness, my forgetfulness, and my busyness [which technically isn't a habit but...]) Anyhoo, there's a couple of things I would like to cover.

1. I don't think I'll be posting much after this, if at all. It takes up too time and I'd rather be commenting on other people's entries or going on MSN or something.

2. This is something that had been nagging me for a little while. I remember this feeling started right after my convo with Xin Chi about who's coming to Shaan's party. There is what our convo was like (I'm quoting as best as I can remember):
F: Who's coming to Shaan's party?
X: The 7 of us.
F: Oh.. I see.
X: Name them.
F: You, Tani, Jenn, Pam, Shaan, Barf and me
X: Correct
X: Last year, there was the 6 of us, but you were somehow added this year... I mean, we still like you and everything... [end of 'quoting']
*wince* Ok... that was a little harsh. I've never really thought about this until Xin Chi pointed it out to me. Even so, I really didn't think I was intruding 'the group' in anyway, just strengthening my friendship. I mean, sure, last year I was a lot closer to Lu than to 'the group of six' (Don't get me wrong, Lu and I are still the best of friends) but am I really such a pest? Or maybe I'm just over-reacting? And now, Xin Chi is having another party at her house and she forgot to add my e-mail address to her list and had to ask Shaan to forward her invitation to me. I know it's an accident and everything and she DID apologise but I can't help but feel the two incidents are related. I hope I didn't sound really insecure or whiny back there, I'm just wondering if I really did intrude or something. Tani, Jenn, Pam, Shaan and Barf, if any of you is reading this, you must answer my questions. That's an order.

3. On a lighter note, my little sister (who is almost 4 by the way) has FINALLY completed her level 1 swimming lesson. We had such a hard time keeping her in class. The first lesson my sister had, she missed it because she was sick. The second lesson, she absolutely refused to go into the water with her instructor. I think it was a combination of her fear of the water (which is actually knee-deep by HER height) and her fear of her instructor/lifeguard. Not to be mean or sexist, but her instructor was a tall, strongly built male... Since my sister is already terrified of strangers... I won't say more -.-' It was only because of a really kind female lifeguard who was on her break, volunteered to help my sister get used to her instructor and the water, did she finally managed to wet her feet in the pool. We thought the third lesson would be easier but noo, Catherine (my sis) just had to whine even louder. We really were thinking of quitting her lessons when my mom came up with the wonderful idea of bribbing Catherine with candy... It was a successful brib and so Catherine finished her lesson without further fuss. I swear, Catherine and I are polar opposites. I had loved the water since I was pushed into the pool (the deep end) and nearly drowned there by my dear old mom at the tender age of 2... I know, I'm weird.

4. Jenn and I are starting this Standard First Aid camp at Nepean Sportsplex to get out C Certificate. It'll be useful if we want to be a camp counciler assistant or a lifeguard or something. Even on the first day, we were packed with so much information. And at the end of the first day, we were FORCED to buy this lifeguard manuel for 34$ O__o The book is really thick and intimitating. I swear I'm gunna fail the test at the end of camp.

Well, that's all for today. My dad is yelling at me to get off the com and do something. Bye!
