My, what a sucktacular weekend. Yesterday, while Punk was at his D&D game, Lilia fell and bonked her head. It was a little harder than usual, but she recovered and I didn't think any more of it. A few hours later she threw up out of nowhere. She hadn't seemed sick before. I thought I'd better be safe and took her to the urgent care center. ( Read more... )

It's been a rough couple of days. We woke up Monday morning and Lilia was kind of hot. Shortly after I called her in sick to day care she barfed all over the ottoman. The rest of the day she ate a little and nursed a lot, but just laid around and slept. Late that night she had a fever of 103.5(!). We debated whether to take her to the hospital ( Read more... )

So far today I have fallen down the stairs while holding Lilia, bonking her head on the wall when I landed and slammed her finger in a closet door. I suck.

Last Saturday me and my sister stayed up playing World of Warcraft until 4 and 5 am in our respective time zones. I woke up the next morning with the worst stiff neck/shoulder ever. It still hurts, 6 days later.

She woke up with a fever, slept on and off for 5 hours, then barfed on me. And Punk is in Indianapolis at Gen Con.

The car died yesterday, leaving me stranded at the gas station. It was weird - it started fine when I left work. I drove the mile to the gas station and filled up. Then it just would not start.
