Wow...WHAT A NIGHT!!! oh my goshhhhhhhhhhh!!! Okay, so I still am not like calmed down from what happened tonight so I apologize in advance if I start to not make sense in this. My friend Kristen and I went to the kings game tonight and it was pretty much a blowout so people started leaving early and so we made our way down to the row right behind the courtside seats. As most of you know, earlier in the year our water polo team met Gavin Maloof at the cheesecake factory and he bought us dinner. Well the game was almost over and kristen was like "hey when the game is over we should go talk to Gavin." and i was like oh my god no joke let's do it! So the game is over and Gavin luckily is talking to someone on the court. I shout out like three times and he doesn't hear me and he is about to go into the tunnel and so I'm about to give up and I'm just like ahh GAVIN!!! really loud, and he hears and turns around and walks up to me. and I shook his hand and said "Hi, I'm Sara Newman and I play for davis water polo and I was just wondering if you remember buying us dinner at the cheesecake factory." and he smiled and was like of course I remember, and I told him about winning a section championship and stuff and then he asked if we wanted to go get some autographs. and me and kristen were like YES!! I started shaking soooo bad. So he takes us to the tunnel and okays us with all the bodyguards and security guards and we are standing right outside the door where the hallway is to the locker room. Grant and Jerry were interviewing Doug Christie, and Brad Miller walked out of the door. He was SO close to me, I wanted to say something to him but at that point I was speechless. Matt Barnes walked out of the door and looked at us and in the sweetest, softest, sexiest voice ever was like "hey girls!" and I almost died. Courtney Alexander kept on walking in and out. Then I saw Mike Bibby and my knees just gave out and Kristen had to hold me up. Darius walked out and I was like nice game Darius! and he said thank you, and then Erik Daniels came out, same conversation haha. Mike Bibby came out and the lady was taking us over to talk to him but he turned into the media room and she was like "aww its okay hes very shy and touchy." Then PEJA STOJAKOVIC walked out and we got to talk to him, because Kristen has connections. He shook both of our hands. He is SOOO hot in real life. Kristen was like "I am dr. wards daughter." and peja was like "ohh! how are you?" and she was like good and he was like "You were the girls I was supposed to do the basketball thing for, are you still playing? and she was like yea and then I was like "We play water polo too" and he smiles and goes "water polo eh!?" and we talked to him for a little bit longer and then shook his hand again. Then I saw BobbyJ and i yelled Bobby, but he was like 5 feet away from me and he was all confused and was like "whaaa hi" i started laughing really hard. and then she said all the players were gunna leave pretty soon out the other doorways so we won't see anyone else. so thats when we left. they were SOOO CLOSE TO LETTING US GO IN THE LOCKER ROOM!!! oh my gosh SO CLOSE!! But instead, he took our programs inside and they are signed by cwebb, darius, peja, mike bibby, bobbyj, courtney alexander and brad miller. man I am SOOO bummed I didn't have a camera!! I WISH I HAD A FUCKING CAMERA!! GRR!!! I shoulda used my camera phone but I wasn't thinking that fast. Oh well, I'll never have this experience again!! my life is almost complete I just need to meet cwebb now!!
