One of these "parents" just distributed an arsenal to the inmates. Another one is Demeter, who will take everything edible off the ship if Persephone is not returned to her in three days.

A male vampire, one-eyed, father to...Rayne. Who is hateful and whom I would not assist, but...

My Warden and some of the people who call me friend here are quite gentle and relatively powerless, and...I have lost enough people, if you understand.

Very well. I suppose nothing can be done about an angry goddess, but weapons at least can be retrieved.

I don't find him powerless, save by comparison to, say, someone with a very large firearm. But my people were powerful and still died like flies. I have...had enough.

Don't get me wrong here: I'd like nothing better than to help with the angry goddess problem - but I know when I'm way out of my league.

Dear lady, we are all out of our league with Demeter. But Biff is one of those people whom it is impossible to dislike. I know--I am the expert in disliking people. So...perhaps.

But were I human I would be fattening up for a difficult week. I am assuming that these...changes...don't usually last longer than that?
