It is been brought to Drake's and my attention that the ice, frost and meltwater currently cluttering up certain common areas and the Deck are in fact dangerous in some way to mortals. Do not touch them. If you have handled the ice or gotten some on you, report to the Infirmary.

You will notice that the Wardens, who doubtless know of this hazard, have neglected to give a general announcement to Inmates in spite of the danger. I leave you to draw your own conclusions on their general level of organization, benevolence and responsibility in light of this fact. As for me, I am absolutely not surprised. If the Wardens genuinely cared for our welfare they would not cover things up even when it puts the Barge at risk. And this is not the first time that this has happened.

Apparently some sort of cleanup is quietly underway. The fifth floor common room now appears clear.
