Konkatsu! and Kusangi Tsuyoshi?
Ah, so it was reported that Konkatsu! (starring Nakai (SMAP) and Ueto Aya) had obtained the lowest ratings (9.4%) ever on a Fuji TV monday 9pm slot! The previous drama played Voice (Toma, Eita) had it's lowest rating on it's 9th episode (10.2%) but it was never as low as what Konkatsu! had.
Apparently, it declined by 5% from the first episode to the second after the arrest of Kusangi (SMAP). This also affected SMAPXSMAP's ratings which plays after the drama.

Wow, I'd never expect such a thing like that to happen. Talk about bad publicity. I wonder why Ueda's fanbase didn't stablise this (though I'm not sure how popular he is actually..KAT-TUN seems to be more popular as a band sometimes, rather than a person) I'm now wondering if Aiba had a really, really bad thing that happened to him happening (-.- stupid sentence, pardon me it's 2.30am and I just got home) would I stop watching TQS?

On the other hand. Why am I not surprised Voice didn't do well? It's not like the acting was bad, it's just that the plot wasn't anything to write home about. The same thing just occurs over and over again every week. Yet... I lasted till the end XD (Well, before the last ep but I'll definitely catch that in the future). Thank god Toma has Majo (:
Edit: When I talked about Aiba I meant it in relation to SMAP's "dip in popularity" because Tsuyoshi caused Nakai's (who had nothing to do with his arrest) drama ratings to go down. Therefore, if something like that happened to Arashi (eg Aiba), I asked myself if I would I do the same to TQS. lol sorry about the confusion I was reallllly sleepy! ^^;
