Nakai to star in new drama with Ueta Aya
And so it was released today, that Nakai (SMAP) is to co-star with Ueto Aya on a new Monday 9pm drama with Fuji TV. Konkatsu! which is an abbreviated term for kekkon katsudo stands for marriage hunting.
The idea is that Nakai, playing a man who faces an economic downturn finds himself applying for a job which requires a married man. Catch is, he isn't. Despite that, he chooses to lie in his application, and seeks the help of family and friends in his search for a marriage partner.
Sounds interesting huh?
Other interesting facts in this press conference include how they talked about their ideal partners.
Nakai wanted someone who goes to bed early, makes good breakfast, can cook and gives each other SPACE.
Ueto, who announced that she hopes to be married by 30, wants a diligent, polite man who can make her feel secure. She also wants to master all housechores. That'd sure be a plus.
Ueta Tastuya (KATTUN) and Yumiko Shaku will also be appearing in this. Now, how funny would that be if Ohno was on it too ;)
