I'm off tomorrow to spend Christmas with my family. Unlike previous years, though, I have a phone with mobile internet. So email etc will still get through.
Today is the shortest day - the turning point of the year. I've had better years than this last one, and I know some people have had it a lot worse. Let's hope the year ahead's a good one for all of us.
