The promo people were handing out pots of Choco Latte at London bridge station this morning. I had mine after lunch. Nice and all, but it basically seems to be a way to market chocolate milk to the over-sevens. Not that I'm complaining.
Curiously, when effectiveness tests were done of (very expensive) supposedly scientific 'recovery' drinks for cycle racers, as well as water, chocolate milk was used as a control substance.
Chocloate milk came out on top.
I quite like carbohydrate recovery fluid myself, also known as beer.
That looks gorgeous. I was a BIG fan of chocolate milk as a younger version of myself. I am not sure I would like this one, because a big part of my enjoyment was the feint plasticky taste that the chocolate became imbued with.
There follows a special ‘conching’ process, in which the couverture is gently kneaded for 72 hours to give CHOCO LATTE its delicate chocolate fragrance.
Crumbs. Perhaps the conching process will make up for the fewer leached chemicals?
