Saw a preview screening of 28 Weeks Later on Sunday. Part of the London Sci-Fi festival. Lots of people there in geeky shirts, but stylishly geeky - embroidered with car from Tron, or with discrete biohazard patterns etc.
Everyone had to hand over their mobile phones beforehand, for security reasons. Though they didn't bother searching us and we could easily have smuggled cameras in if we'd wanted.
The film was a good, grim, scary bit of survival horror. More coherent than its predecessor. Some shocking violence - some of it emotionally rather than just physically shocking. I liked the City of London as an armed camp, and the attack on docklands. There was a real RPG moment when one of the main characters (PCs) tried to force an obviously minor character (NPC) to act as sniper-bait. I liked the chase through empty London, but did wonder why they were going from Regent's Park to Wembley via Charing Cross Tube station...
