I've been looking into the history of some of the Norse gods ever since I started collecting Thor (which has been awesome).  One of the gods I looked at (via Wikipedia, what else?) is named Balder (or Baldr, in Norse).  In the comics, he's Thor's slightly dense BFF.  In mythology, Balder is one of those unfortunate gods best known for dying.  ( Read more... )
