I'm starting the study of theology just as I begin this winter feast for the soul. They do not feel very compatible.
And the comment about reading sacred text made me realize that I only read them, these days, in preparation for preaching. What if I read something for myself?
I read Dr. King's "I have a dream" and "I've been to the mountaintop" last week for class. I think today I'll read them again as a part of my feast for the soul.
