I'm fascinated by my fascination with words and letters. I typed the letter "Z" into my IM status to denote sleeping and immediately thought of how I associated the letter "Z" with my brother Zack. It's the intent that makes it wrong.

"I'm going to try and eat this cookie."

The speaker does not mean to say, "I am going to try and also eat this cookie."

The speaker means to say, "I am going to try to eat this cookie."

It irritates the crap out of me and it's everywhere.
