So know that I love you. honestly, why I didn't go to LSU, even why I didn't go to tech, was b/c i knew too many people there. I wnated to get away from everybody that i knew and i find who I really was. I didn't want to lose the friendships I already had, I just wanted to find new ones. And all the friends i have left from high school that i still tlak to or see on a regular basis, i can count on my fingers. And I don't feel bad about that. You are obviously one of those peopel b/c I'm writing you now, and when I go home, I will call to do somethign with you. But honestly, I don't know--but know that I love you.
And I love that story about the starfish. I heard it differently, I heard that I man was throwing them all back and someone saw him and said "why are you doing that? there's no way you can make a difference there's thousands of them." And the guy threw one back to the ocean and said "it made a difference to that one." Overall, I love that story though. And the whole "you can't save everybody" I've learned that time and time again from so many people. When I had to do teacher interviews at the beginning of hte semester--that's the one thing that Trey's mom told me that stuck out way further than the rest. crazy huh?
