*beams* You liked them! I'm so happy. :D I hope they fit okay. I'm not sure how the yarn will wear with use, so if they stretch a bit, you can (or ask your mom to) sew some elastic into the inside at the knuckles and/or elbow.

They fit wonderfully. I've been wearing them pretty much since I got them last night and it seems to be holding up well. Might sew the thumb holes a little bit tighter but otherwise it works and the color is gorgeous. One of my friends at my table is a total knitter, and she saw them today and kidnapped my arm for the next five minutes trying to figure out the pattern. She couldn't and it really bothered her. XD

Ahhhh yeah. I have a fairly solid background on Middle East, so I'm hoping this will work out decently enough. I get to present a panel on Nomads. XD I'm excited.

Ah yeah, totally. We took a train from Edinburgh to York, and then from York to London and those were both pretty awesome rides. A bus might have been even better--I remember driving around Ireland was pretty great. But yeah, I hope you're enjoying Edinburgh I love that city so damn much.
