Last night I went to dinner with my dear friend who is considered the Russia of our group, and who has been my friend for the last seven...eight years. It's pretty great and a lot of fun. Though tomorrow is our first test, when we realize how hard learning another language is. :D Though, honestly, after just two weeks it's amazing the amount we can do, but it's scary the amount we can't. So we'll see how this goes.

It's a good song to be stuck in your head though, no? I've actually listened to the German version so many times I can sing most of the lyrics in German, though I'm not sure what all the words mean. :D And yeah, those Hyenas are totally freaking Nazi. It's unbelievable. The parallels are strongest I think in the scenes with Scar, the idea of the "Master" and the leader (Master narrative I think is what she called it). So, totally during "Be Prepared." She listed a couple movies but the German names were so long and so fast. I was going to check out a couple places to see if I could find any articles on it, I'll let you know if I do.

Yeah. I'm going to try and not mention all the pornish things they did during specific meetings. But it'll be interesting the things my brain comes up with. I'm sad I can't write the whole paper about Russia though. Curses! I'm actually pretty sure I'm not supposed to include much of Russia at all in it, but by god am I going to try!
