So, I've got a more personal angle on the whole Lebanon thing.

My friend Thumper (who used to call GC back in the day) got married a few years back to a wonderful woman from Beirut, Lebanon. They have 3 children together, the youngest just two weeks old.

His wife had gone to Lebanon with their two children to have the baby, as her family is there.
