Winter recap

Whoa, I can't believe the year is nearly over already.  The past month was simply a blur.

Justin came to visit for two and a half weeks.  The first week was not so great.  I have gotten really used to living my own life, and having a boy come over and intrude was slightly shocking.  I also have had to make some decisions over the past couple months about my future and career, etc.  He wants me to come live with him sometime in the next few months.  I have found some cool fellowships in the U.S. that I have wanted to apply for, even though it would mean another year apart for us.  I had pretty much made up my mind to just focus on my career, and that doing cool and fulfilling stuff was more important than a boy.  And then he came and complicated everything by reminding me how nice it is to have him around and how I'd do just nearly anything to go live with him.  damn.

In other news - I like to knit.  alot.  I set up a new knitting blog with Weebly.  Man that site is easy to use.  I also put some yarn I dyed up there in hopes someone might buy it... I sold one skein in Ebay already, we'll see about these other ones.  If nothing else I'm sure I'll find something to make with them. :D  I went to a yarn shop in Oak Creek and found some wonderful Malabrigo lace weight yarn.  I'm gonna dye it and knit a shawl - maybe for myself, or maybe for my brother's fiance.
Oh yes, my brother is engaged.  He announced it to my parents at Christmas.  They are getting married at an all-inclusive resort in Mexico next November.... oh man, better start saving.  Being a bridesmaid is so expensive!  And destination wedding!  But it'll be awesome.
