Last weekend: The hush caught my attention. I looked up from the savory jewels of lamb medallion and foie gras to find myself in what felt like a French erotic art film. Conversations on sensual pleasures among the graceful women and handsome men had suddenly stopped. Candles flickered in the elegant Victorian residence, casting everything in shades of sepia and gold. We all looked to the end of the long table where two figures stood, motionless. The figure sheathed completely in black, wearing a white mask, slowly undressed the other, a coquettish masked maid with a lithe dancer’s body. The white shirt removed, exposing a black lace bra on flawless skin. They performed a slow tableau of seduction. As swiftly as they appeared, they slipped away, while other masked servants presented the Caramel foam desserts to each of the guests.

I seem to be vibrating a lot lately - a surge of creativity is welling up within. It’s amazing what a difference a year makes. This week marks the first anniversary of the devastating tsunami and nuclear disaster in Japan. Stunned, distraught and helpless, I watched my fatherland in peril. I focused on work and forged forward. I suppose that in itself gave me some sense of bond and togetherness with those in Japan.
This spring, however, brings me bountiful gifts of creative opportunities and inspirations. Others around me also seem to be vibrating with creative energy. Great collaborations are in the works, as well as exciting projects of my own. As they take form I’ll keep you posted through this and the social networking sites. I really look forward to inviting you to these!

Prerequisite: Willingness for serious learning. Must be able to tie your shoelaces. No experience necessary. However, those with experience will be appropriately challenged.
Includes: 16+ hours of intensive training from four Dojo Cadres. Emphasis will be on balanced education focusing on “Heart-Mind-Hand” approach, covering rope skills, scene managements, psychology, history and more for both those who tie and those who are tied.
Included: morning nosh, delicious lunches, afternoon snacks & other goodies

7. AIDS LIFECYCLE FUNDRAISING - NEED YOUR SUPPORT
The fundraising this year’s been really difficult… though the economic vital signs are improving, it’s still not healthy…
Please support me in my efforts to raise funds for critically needed HIV services through AIDS LifeCycle.
I’ll be volunteering as a Roadie at this year’s AIDS LifeCycle, helping 2,000 cyclists ride down from San Francisco to LA in 7 days, raising awareness & funds while having a challenge of their life….
I suck at asking people directly for this, especially in tough economic times. Would you consider supporting me? How about just the amount of a cup of coffee? Or a week’s worth of coffee?

Last weekend: The hush caught my attention. I looked up from the savory jewels of lamb medallion and foie gras to find myself in what felt like a French erotic art film. Conversations on sensual pleasures among the graceful women and handsome men had suddenly stopped.
