I douby anyone would know a 17 year old kid by the name of Aaron Millar. This kid just personifies awesome when he picks up a guitar. I've had the pleasure with working with Aaron before. This kid reminds me of how good really can out wiegh bad.
Anyways I asked to come out and see the band he is in now. Fair enough! I get there and the lead singer is not anywhere in sight. The awful event of battle of the bands, forces you to play or watch you alotted time wash away. The nerve of this kid, he comes down and askes me to play a song, just one song. He even got to hyper for me!! So I asked does your band know that WEEZER song? "huh?!?!?!?!" was his exact response.
"Yeah, the good life by Weezer."
"oh man..."
Aaron and I have our own version of the song we enjoyed playing. Next thing i know, Im up there still in my winter jacket lol. Ok Im not any special singer or anything like that but I sure know how to scream. Thats what I exactly did when it came to the chorous. I thought we butchered the song. But after that one and only song we played, I received numerous compliments about the performance. Im just thinking to myself that these people are messed.
