I always like the view across the valley where we live, but it is particularly nice this time of year.

Wednesday I got my haircut and got us dinner at the Mexican restaurant I like across the street from there.

On the way home there was a turkey in the road. It eventually used the cross walk at the traffic light. So, clearly it grew up in the area.

I tried to see the aurora, but although I could see the stars, I didn’t see any aurora.

I dropped off our votes for the upcoming election. I’m not worried about the voting box as it is between the town hall and the police station. As I got back in my car, a police officer came out of the station and put theirs in the same box. So, I’m fairly sure it is safe.

There are some subtle signs that one of our neighbors might be moving out of the building.

Friday night was game night at our friend’s house, so off we went to the setting sun and rising moon.

It’s fall, so by 7 it was pretty dark out.

Their little free library is now a pokestop.

Then, we had to pick a game.

We picked "Crossbows and catapults"

It’s a very dynamic game, so some gifs of it:

Then we played "Smug Owl", which was a new one to me trying to make answers to randomly generated questions. I did OK, but not great at it.

Today we drove up to New Hampshire to be interviewed for a documentary about the New Hampshire Ren Faire. It was a pretty drive with all the leaves changing.

They videoed about 1/2 hour with us, then back on the road south.

We stopped for lunch at a place we really like and then stopped at my wife’s favorite Whole Foods with the cheese cave.

We did not get forbidden bread.

When doing the rest of the grocery shopping later that day I was forced to answer the question which of these little teal cars was mine.

Don’t see a lot of matches for my car. But, mine was the first one…
