Day 11 - A song from your favorite band
Who my favourite band are should come as a surprise to no one.
New Order have been my favourite band since True Faith. They always had a bit more heart than The Pet Shop Boys, though possibly less of a social conscious, and they've managed to straddle the worlds of rock and dance in a way no other band had before or really did since (though The Stone Roses and Primal Scream came close).
The 90's weren't the best of decades for New Order. While the vanilla album versions were the sound of a band on autopilot there were some absolutely *stunning* remixes and this Fire Island mix of 'Regret' has always been a favourite.
