I don't know what I'm thinking.
I have to admit this show taketh my love and mooshes it into the dirt in a lot of ways. But when they get something right it feels oh so slow-burning good.
I don't know. I expected these two episodes to make me flail a LOT MORE than they did.
I wanted to flail a lot more than I did. :(
I didn't want to keep referencing LOTR and POTC in the middle of the episode or speculating when Merlin would get on his unicorn with some dramatic backlighting and charge down a strategically placed hill with a lot of angry peasants. (although it probably would have made an epic climax for that episode}
Um. Can we discuss how much DNW I have for next week? Okay. Let's start with the less than obvious. So, if what Leon said was right. What Arthur agreed with before the battle takes place. Aren't all the outlying villages DECIMATED.
AS IN COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY TRAMPLED TO FUCKING DEATH. The castle is on fire AGAIN. THE LOWER TOWN WAS SACKED. ACKNOWLEDGED AS LOST AND GONE.
And next week we've got everyone farting.
If episode four or five don't make up for this, I might not watch another episode until the end of the series. Because at least we know shits going down then. Like. DOWN.
