Nancy Tetens is the principal at the upper elementary in the district I used to teach in. She's jovial and funny with a wicked sense of humor and a devotion to kids that amazes me. This year she decided her resolution was to become more healthy so she could be an even better role model for her students. She has taken her lunch times to discuss good health with the students and spends the rest of the lunch period walking the halls, a trail of kiddos behind her.
Because of her dedication to kids and her resolve to make her own life better, Lifetime television has chosen her as a Clean Start Challenge contestant. Lifetime has chosen ten women from across the nation to document their progress toward their goal through
weekly web videos. Nancy could definitely use your vote to win; I am all about someone working toward becoming a better version of themselves and know that people with that goal can use all the encouragement they can.
