ysabetwordsmith started a fascinating poem some time back about two alien species in a form of symbiosis inspired by a similar symbiosis of two similar Earth organisms. It's a long poem, but definitely worth the read, and has been funded in bits and pieces for weeks. The poem is now fully funded, so you can read it here. The background of the poem is here.

Old Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard
To fetch her poor dog a bone;
When she got there, the cupboard was bare,
And so the poor dog had none.

So I did some more analyzing of the limnet, and not only did I realize that the rhyme pattern of the original two limnets was actually ABAB CDCD EFEF AA (though I like ABAB CDCD EFEF GG as well), I also found it is a very complex and challenging form.
