My Apple laptop, Nora, has a personality of her own. :-) She has a hard time connecting to the internet in my bedroom for some reason, though the PC has no problem. The exception is, Nora connects to the net just fine if I'm laying down on the bed and she's sitting on my chest or abdomen. Kinda like a cat in that way, it seems.

Since the peculiarities of installing an old version of OpenOffice on Nora (my Apple laptop with the old OS) involved highly technical stuff I couldn't even begin to understand, and I didn't want to bother with trying, I looked into someone's mention of NeoOffice, which is like OpenOffice but is designed to work with my kind of laptop (without that ( Read more... )
