Education at Hogwarts
What I don’t get is why Hogwarts never had Muggle subjects like math, PE, art, music, and so on. I’m working on my own story with a school of magic in it, and I managed to fit not only the magical classes (7 subjects) and mundane subjects as well (another 7 classes) with room for up to 5 electives starting in 3rd year *with study halls*, and it only took me three days to figure out that schedule! It was a grueling three days, but still only three days! (It’s an A Day/B Day system, one hour class blocks, nine hours a day.)
There are lots of study halls for the first few years. Even more for those not taking (m)any electives.
