The Day of the Fluff

Good day all those out there in wherever-land,

An interesting Phenomenon happened today--These little trees that seem to populate the entirety of the area where I'm living started to release little puffy white flakes of cottony-spores. It literally seemed like it was snowing all day long! I'm not really sure what kind of tree it's from, but it was highly entertaining to watch as the wolves intensely stared down the fluffs as if they were prey, and then proceeded to nip at them. The pups espically were adorable x3 Near the end of the day it came down in flurries and the wolves (and some of the interns, including me) went nuts! A fun day indeed.

In other news, I learned how to drive (and now have had experience driving) a 15 passenger bus recently! It's very daunting to be on the road with that large a vehicle! It gives one a sense of power and fear all in one: the power of destruction and authority on the road mixed with the fear of equal destruction. But it is fun....though I HATE making that annoying "beeping" noise whenever backing up. It doesn't help that I'm horrible at backing up in regular cars in the first place XD;

Things are starting to speed up over here now that summer's approaching! I've had some fun the past few days attending this event called "Dock Dogs"--in which dogs compete by jumping off a dock after a random toy to see who can jump the farthest, retrieve the fastest, etc. One dog literally soared over 20 feet out!! It was amazing! I've also met a lot of interesting people this way...I'm looking forward to my final day at the booth at the festival tomorrow :3 A hectic weekend indeed. I still have a lot of work to do and a lot more to teach, so I'll head off for a while. (Not to mention just raced a bike home on foot and I'm feeling tired XD; )

Hope everyone's well,

~Faux
