I hesitate to classify Saturday as part of the Busy Week, since all I had to do was go to a forty minute rehearsal...and a week is only seven days...so I don't think Day Seven is done yet. Once I wake up (today) I'll sing at three (3) church services with the quartet (in what's been described as a "pleasant" falsetto), then have a lull followed by a Municipal Band show (luckily much easier than Wednesday's show). So we'll make that Day Seven (despite that it's not contiguous with the rest of the days) and look forward to puting a hard week to bed.
Of course then it all starts over with Muni Band rehearsal on Monday...but I'll have a few more vacant evenings this coming week, so it should be much easier to manage.
I need something with a slower tempo and less energy; I can feel my body beginning to vibrate and tense. Cash's cover of Hurt followed by the ultimate relaxation song, Balamb Garden (from Uematsu-san's FFVIII) should do the trick.
...I just spent some time looking up proper use of the -san suffix. According to this page it can be attached to given names or surnames, but no idea which is more common or polite. Perhaps Steve would know. Anyway, I think in this case "Uematsu-san" would be equivalent to "Mr. Abel" if I understand the name ordering correctly. I considered -sensei as well, because I've certainly learned a lot from him, but don't know if that's appropriate for someone you've never had direct contact with. So many questions!
What if I met him and called him by a disrespectful name, or mispronounced it...or both, which I would surely do!?!?
Gotta calm down.
I'll leave you to ponder the mysterious intricacies of Japanese titles in your own way and wish you a pleasant day filled with overcoming obstacles or avoiding them altogether.
