Me, these days:
Basically, the embodiment of an insatiable curiosity. I use google like I use nothing else; I spend my free time surfing the web for new things to learn, searching for things I’ve never seen or experienced. Life has sucked for a few weeks, but today was more than amazing (coffee in bed, zoo, barbeque by the lake, my roommate moved out so I have my VERY OWN ROOM ). I am listening to oldies radio on the public access television channel (Leader of the Pack, Cathy’s Clown, the likes…). I am reading a clever comic website that I feel like only Hunter kids will truly appreciate: http://xkcd.com/ Start at “start.” I’ve seen lots of babies in the past few days; I love them! I’m almost past crying when I think about my impending aunt-hood (kind of); PostSecret had a baby on it and it prompted this post. I smell like fire, like meat, like outdoors. This morning when Ken and I were lying in bed, I said, “I love you so much,” and then immediately thought of a rolling, hilly landscape. I can share so many passions with him; we are best friends and have essentially built a life together. Could I have 180’ed more? Twice in three months, eh… Hopefully this is a sign that things are turning around. Fuck Thursday, though. Tonight I am smiling.
