I liked Karen and I felt really bad for her because she never saw what was coming. I agree that a wedding, even a proposal, would be too soon. Part of the charm of The Office was the unrequited love between Jim and Pam.

yes, she just didn't know, and that wasn't her fault. i actually liked karen a lot more when they were up in stamford. not so much when she came down to scranton. and jim just treated her poorly.
