I brought up my issues at the staff meeting and it went really well. Some people still thought I was reading into it too much, some people agreed with me but I don't think they relly understood my issue, and some people really understood. But the end result is that they will all be a little more aware and think things through before doing them.
So yay.
I'm really looking forward to the thanksgiving break. As much as I enjoy school I need to get away. I haven't been home in far too long.
That said... here's some stuff to look at
This is one of our ongoing assignments throughout the school year (it will continue on through next semester) for anatomy class. At the beginning of the year we had to buy these big sheets of translucent plastic on which we would build a human body for reference. We would add to it every week whatever we had been learned about in that weeks lecture. It's pretty nifty and here's what they look like right now.
here are some close ups, just for fun
aaaaaaaaaand just for size reference...
they are 50% life size
That class is so serious, it makes me feel like I am in med school sometimes. But I have learned soooooooooo much from that class, and it has really enhanced my ability to draw figures because I see things I didn't before because I look for them and I understand why we look like we do! It's crazy!
I love art school.
