Oh, my WORD. I cannot believe the prices that tickets for the Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine at Brixton at the start of November are going for on eBay... I've been watching the prices for a little while now, and up until recently tickets were goign for £60-70 each (face value of £25), and I thought that as time passed the prices would get a little more sensible (this often happens).
However, the opposite has happened. I've seen single tickets in the last couple of days going for £150-160. And that's a huuuuuuge amount. I'd really like to go, as it is likely to be the last time they ever play (and there are only two gigs in this "tour"), but at those prices...
Ironically, the Glasgow gig a few days earlier still has tickets available at face value from the normal ticket sites. For £150, you could get a ticket to the Glasgow gig, take the train up, and get a hotel room overnight...
