Oh, my WORD. I cannot believe the prices that tickets for the Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine at Brixton at the start of November are going for on eBay... I've been watching the prices for a little while now, and up until recently tickets were goign for £60-70 each (face value of £25), and I thought that as time passed the prices would get a ( Read more... )

I received a personalised "recommended gigs" e-mail from Last.fm the other day. It included Carter at Brixton Academy, and I was rather puzzled by the "click here to buy tickets" link. So I clicked there, and it took me to a page which said that it had been sold out for several months. Genius, eh?

When I previously saw Carter at Brixton Academy, the tickets cost £6.50 each. They were supporting Birdland, whom I suspect will not be reforming for the occasion this time around...
