King.of.Pants
So, I've been staring at these tuxedo pants at Target for about a month now. They are not going to fit, no matter how much I want the measurements to change.
And, yet, I am unable to let them go. It's not these particular pants, per se, it's the idea of tuxedo pants. I may just have a slight obsession going on here.
I'm considering just going to one of the formal wear places around here that cater to men (does Men's Warehouse carry formalwear?) and seeing if I can find a pair there.
I have this image of me in tuxedo pants and a white shirt and a little black cardigan and while I don't know if I have anywhere to wear such an ensemble -- it might be too much for the office -- I really, really want to make this happen. Which, come to think of it, means I need a good white shirt as well. *makes note*
Do any of you have any recommendations regarding fit for men's pants? I know I'm going to have these things tailored, but I want to know what I'm getting myself into, you know? I have the whole big-hipped thing going on, so I'm not sure this is going to work. But, hey, worth a try!
