Seeking Health Insurance

Okay fats... I need your help. I could think of nowhere else to turn but here.

My dad recently lost his job, and therefore I lost my health insurance. So today I shopped around and found a decent plan with Anthem that would work for me for a few years. I went through the application process and was honest about my height and weight. (5'4", 250lbs)

My medical history is spotless. I am never sick. I have no preexisting conditions. I have no health problems tied to my weight. But I was instantly declined.

I was not expecting this. I have heard about it happening, but I just figured... it wouldn't be me? I don't know. I suppose I was overly optimistic.

So I need help. I have a week to find coverage, and I don't know what to do.

Who has experience with this. Is there someone else who is abut my height/weight who has successfully applied for individual coverage? I can easily add an inch to my height (I'm between 5'4" and 5'5" anyway) and could knock a few pounds off my weight, but I want to know if there is some magic number that I should be under. I obviously cannot reapply for the same plan and suddenly be an inch taller and 30 pounds lighter...

Any suggestions and any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'm scared and confused. I've never felt so persecuted for being fat, it has never affected me on a level like this before. It has never been a barrier to my well being. So me and my family is freaking out and I need a solution.

**EDIT**
Thanks to my dad's lawyer being a BADASS, we have at least one more month of coverage through his work, maybe two. Doesn't really solve my "oh no I'm fat" problem, but does give me more time to look.

health issues, help!
